The surgery department at Osceola Community Hospital consists of one main operating room and another operating/procedure room.  Our nursing personnel includes seven professional nurses from our nursing staff.  Primary anesthesia is from Midwest Anesthesia Service with other qualified anesthesia personnel and visiting surgeons are needed.  Our general surgeon coverage is provided by Dr. D. Reinke, Dr. W. Jongewaard and W. H. Merry, MD.  Other specialty surgeons providing services include:  EENT, orthopedic and urology.  We provide abdominal and laparoscopic services and are able to expand and offer new services such as arthroscopy when needed.
