The radiology department at Osceola Community Hospital consists of three radiologic technologists, all of whom are also trained in mammography.  The department is open from 6:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and 7:00 a.m. until the clinic is closed on Saturday mornings.  After hours, the department is "on call."

Dr. Robert Thorbrogger is the hospital radiologist and is here Monday through Friday once a day and is also available after hours for emergencies.

The radiology department was renovated with new equipment in the Fall of 2003 a bone density unit was also added. The radiology department is responsible for x-rays, ultrasounds, CTs and MRIs. The mobile MRI is here on Friday, if needed.

The radiology department is also responsible for EKGs and treadmills.  EKGs, when done, are sent to either Sioux City or Sioux Falls.
