The Osceola Community Hospital has an active cardiac rehab Phase I, II, III programs.  Cardiac rehab Phase I is care provided while the patient is still in the hospital.  This is provided by the physical therapist and nursing staff under the guidelines provided by the physician.

Cardiac rehab Phase II is an outpatient exercise program provided to cardiac patients who qualify for this program.  Cardiac rehab Phase II is held Monday, Wednesday and Friday for a one-hour session.  Patients are placed on the cardiac monitors.  Their blood pressures are monitored before and after exercise.  This program is supervised by two RNs certified in ACLS.

Cardiac rehab Phase III is an exercise program provided for cardiac patients who have completed Phase II or have been diagnosed with a cardiac problem.  This program is supervised by an RN certified in ACLS.  The patient's blood pressure and pulse are monitored with exercise and at rest.  This program is a self pay program.  Cardiac rehab Phase III meets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for one hour.
